It is effort expensive to meet ready purchase outside USB drives, so I would same to establish LINUX on an older PC and ingest it as a enter server.
As I see it, to do this I requirement to establish both LINUX and SAMBA so that my WinXP workstations crapper admittance the files, but I am having pain locating a broad inventiveness (or resources) on how to ordered up this arrangement.

Hi,
My covering logs are stored in a portion index enter on the UNIX Server. I would same to analyse the linux logs for a portion day.How crapper i do it? Please suggest.
For warning my linux index enter contains logs for the terminal 10 life from Nov 1 to Nov 10 then how crapper i analyse ONLY the logs of NOV 7???
